THE JUMPZ TEAM

Hi, 

My name is Michelle and I founded Jumpz in 2015. I am a busy mum to two boys as well as being employed as a social support worker which I have done for eight years , in that time I have experienced working with various indivduals and groups with learning disabilities. I enjoy my employment as a learning disability support worker as well as an appointed fitness instructor throughout Derbyshire. Both have their challenges but far outweighed by reward.

 

I have recently competed in the BDFPA at national level and hope to continue my love of powerlifting, This has been more of a hobby for me over the past year, in earlier years I had competed on stage at bikini competitions(Miss Galaxy Universe, UKBBF).

My name is Cassie, I have one daughter and we live in Derby, Im also the Assistant co-ordinator of Jumpz ( I help Michelle stress less)
Im proud to be working with so many inspiring people every week and i enjoy encouraging fitness.
I work part time in the leisure industry as well as training for my first Powerlifting competiton hopefully in 2015.
Working with learning disabilitys is new to me, but I like to keep myself upto date with appropriate courses to allow me to fully understand the individual needs of someone with a learning disability.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Ken or Kenny, I answer to both! I am 30yrs of age and a qualified level 2 fitness instructor. Being disabled myself I have always been interested in fitness and training for disabled people. I am also interested in sports for the disabled and have had a go at things like rowing, wheelchair basketball and a little go at wheelchair racing! I think keeping as fit as possible is important to all people but maybe more so for people with disabilites and learning difficulties. It is a great way of making friends and building stamina and strength and everyone has the ability to join in at some level.
I help out at Jumpz fitness circuit class and am really enjoying it, and hope as many people as possible will come along and join in.
Hi,
My name is Andrea, I'm mum to two boys aged 7 and 6. The youngest has autism and global developmental disorder, and is the cheekiest child ever! I have recently qualified as a level 2 teaching assistant and have spent the last year at a primary school givin one to one assistance to children with special needs.
